Shipping policy

Production & Lead Time

Kate Hewko wholesale orders are produced to order rather than shipped from held stock. Please allow up to 8 weeks from order confirmation and payment for your order to be produced and shipped. Lead times may vary by season, order size, and product availability, and we'll notify you if we expect a delay beyond this window.

Shipping Terms

All orders ship FOB Origin (our facility). Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer once goods are handed to the carrier. We select the carrier unless you specify a preferred carrier or provide your own shipping account.

Freight Charges

Because orders are produced to order, we are unable to quote exact shipping costs at the time of order. Once your order is complete and ready to ship, we will purchase the shipping label and invoice you for the actual carrier cost, billed at cost with no markup. You will receive this invoice before your order ships.

Orders of $1500 CAD or more (pre-tax, single shipment/destination) qualify for prepaid freight — no shipping charge will apply.

Expedited production or shipping may be available on request, subject to availability, at buyer's expense.

Delivery Timeframes

Once your order ships, standard transit is 4-10 business days within Canada. 

Damaged or Missing Shipments

Please inspect all shipments upon arrival and note any visible damage to packaging directly on the delivery/carrier receipt before signing. Claims for shipping damage or shortages must be reported to us within 5 business days of delivery, with photos and your order number, so we can file with the carrier on your behalf.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Because orders are produced to order, changes or cancellations can only be accommodated within 48 hours of order confirmation, before production begins. Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or modified.

Shipping Destinations

Kate Hewko Canada Wholesale currently ships to Canada only. A dedicated US wholesale site, shipping internationally, is coming soon.
